Robert Pattinson, Kristen StewartRobert Pattinson has dropped out of an indie film because he’s scheduled to reprise his role as Edward in the Twilight sequel New Moon in March. He’s been offered a multi-million dollar deal to commit himself to future big screen adaptations of the books that the movies are based on. Currently, Pattison is at home in London, “trying to get healthier… that’s my project at the moment.” His co-star and onscreen rival, Taylor Lautner, is also concentrating on getting fit, by packing on muscle at the gym in order to portray his character’s growth spurt in New Moon. Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart, who will continue her role as Bella in the sequel, is in Sundance to promote her new movie Adventureland, co-starring Ryan Reynolds.

That sucks… but if it’s for New Moon it will be worth it.

    Hopefully…

OMG, I thought it was about to say he dropped out of being Edward Cullen. It sucks that he won’t be doing that indie film, but hopefully New Moon will be AMAZING!!

I honestly dont care if he plays Edward again or not. He was not an amazing \Edward\. He is a good looking actor, dont get me wrong, but I dont feel that he has portrayed \Edwards\ character correctly. I feel that someone who has been alive for 90 years or so should have more contempt and wisdom, like the book describes him, and not like a horny 90-year-old-virgin vampire that Robert has played.

I’m glad, as long as he doesn’t drop out of any Twilight movies! Indie movies generally stink, anyway.

Hey! I thought the same as someone else. I had me worried at first. I thought it was going to say he wont be edward in new moon. Id rather he act in new moon than in some indie movie.
