Robert Pattinson Robert Pattinson says loyalty is the ''most important trait in a friendship.'' The former Twilight star believes a strong relationship is based around faithfulness, and he insists he's been ''really lucky'' to have friends who have supported him throughout his rise to fame. Speaking to The Stir at a press stop in Los Angeles for his gritty new thriller The Rover, he said: ''I think loyalty is probably the most important trait in a friendship. It's definitely very important. I was really lucky to have pretty great friends growing up ... I think I've had all my friends for at least 10 years. I have a very optimistic view of the world -- mainly because I like my life!''
