Robert Pattinson to meet with Kristen Stewart

By Tribute News on August 28, 2012 | 18 Comments

Robert Pattinson Robert Pattinson is ready to meet with Kristen Stewart. The 26-year-old actor was left devastated last month when his girlfriend admitted to cheating on him with married director Rupert Sanders, but friends say he now believes her infidelity was just a "moment of stupidity" and he is keen for a face-to-face meeting to try and repair their three-year relationship. A source said: "They talked [on the phone] for about an hour - it was very emotional...Kristen begged to meet face-to-face so they could talk. It was obvious she was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her. Even though she made a horrendous mistake, Rob can't just switch off his feelings. He was madly in love with her and I think he believes that it was a moment of stupidity, not a long, drawn-out affair and it'd never happen again. In Rob's eyes, Kristen was seduced and she's clearly not just sorry but completely destroyed by what she's done." However, if the Cosmopolis star does agree to making another go of their relationship, he wants to establish some "ground rules." The source continued to Look Magazine: "If Rob decides to take her back, he'll have some ground rules. Kristen would have to spend more time in his hometown of London. He also would want them to adopt the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt way of working - where they take it in turns to do a film so they can be around for time together."

Awesome ! Now if the stupid tabloids can stay out of it….and everyone else mind their own business…maybe these two young people can have a go at a somewhat normal life together. These people get paid for their craft and entertaining people at the movies or stage work. They don’t get paid for us to stick our noses into their lives nor do they owe it to anyone. The papparrazzi should start getting sued for stalking; endangerment; harrassement and voyeurism ! Way too much technology to invade lives…let alone normal people’s lives. Do you really think you’re homes and lives are private today….think about it: gov’t; census takers; registrations; taxes; peeping toms; the sickos ! We are so invested into hollywood that we don’t even know who our neighbors are anymore. Start looking ahead and around you, instead of staring at your ipads; texting and generally not caring !

I do hope it works. They just seem they should be together. Also following the Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, situation is very smart. Being apart too long is not good. So here is hoping the very best happens.

It’s his life, so good luck to him, but I still think this is a TERRIBLE idea.

You can’t trust a cheater, and setting “ground rules” (aka controls) to take someone back is likely to end in disaster. She’s a terrible human being; not a dog. You can’t put her on a leash and expect her to obey. She’ll just run off the next time she senses freedom.

Your a terrible human being and I can’t imagine the things you’ve done to hurt people just by the way you’re writing. Non forgiving and totally judgemental equals a very hurt person who can’t get past themselves so their busy with other people’s lives. Sorry you feel that way….maybe you need to look really hard in the mirror and be brutally honest with yourself if you have ever: lied; cheated; stolen; gossiped; purposely gone out of your way to hurt someone’s feelings; or do you just enjoy being miserable ? Terrible idea or not, their choice !

Communication is critical in any relationship and they are trying to come to terms with this terrible incident. They seem to have a lot invested in each other so it would be a shame not to forgive, apologize and move forward.

Amen CRTG ! Not to mention that as young as they are 22 and 25 and hollywood life being brutal, I’m amazed they went unscathed for 3 years. So Bravo…everyone deserves a chance. Can’t imagine living life under everyones radar.

Wait What? Im a terrible human being. How so?
I wished Rob all the best, I stated my opinion on the matter and I refrained from calling Kristen a sk***. Liberty didn’t forgive Rupert, so I’m not the only one who feels this way towards cheaters.

Honestly, It seems Im arguing with Twilight Tweens who want this couple together so they can enjoy their movies better. Look, Im sorry you cant process that these films suck; and that most movie couple dont belong together in the real world. That doesnt make me a terrible human being; just makes me brutally honest.

I hardly care. But, what I never understand about these things is: WHY is a FRIEND of Rob’s telling some journalist or tabloid about the details of a phone call he may have had. Hell, why is/he she even admitting there was a phone call at all? You call that being a FRIEND? Yeah, speaking of betrayal…

I wish them luck, relationships are hard not to mention having the papparazzi chasing you all over the place. Hope they work it out. The idea of working on a film one at a time like Brad Pitt and Angelina is a good idea. Ground rules are important to a relationship though. Sounds like this will be a real growing experience for the two young actors, so that’s a positive thing. If she does cheat ever again she’s not worth anyone’s time, but I think a chance in this situation is worth it.

The one who wrote ground rules are ‘controls’ is wrong. It’s compromise. Again, people can find other words to justify what they hear or read. I think if she is pleading with him he knows she loves him and if he wants to take her back then it’s not ‘controlling’ to say let’s work on movies at separate times so we can see more of each other. It’s a tough industry to be apart for months at a time.
Many industries are like that(fishing/forestry/oil rigs) and it certainly puts a strain on relationships…so to be able to be in a career whereby you might be able to pick and choose jobs or make concessions like working at separate times is a great way to compromise and work on the relationship.

I think it’s stupid and he can easily move on, but really I respect them for giving it a shot even if it doesn’t pan out.

Ground rules constitute compromise only if both partners are on equal terms. In this case, Rob thinks he’s got Kristen over the barrel.

Perhaps she’s not thinking straight or perhaps; she’ll say anything to get him back. Guess what happens when they settle down and she realizes what she’s given up?

  12. Snepts • August 29, 2012 @ 4:27 AM

If they could get back together in time to open the new TWILIGHT movie, that would be just…wow!!!

  13. sakuems • August 29, 2012 @ 9:39 AM

OH god i REALLY think he should forgive her !
he should blame rupert sanders also ! i mean, everyone hates on a 22 years old woman who has to deal with a lot of pressure all the time. the medias are always picking on her for clothes, not smiling enough or whatever. and now with that adding to it ? of course she’s afraid, devastated, angry, sad and guilty but everyone makes mistakes !! EVERYONE !! who said an actress has to be perfect ? she’s human after all ! and before everything else, before being a role model which she never wanted or claim to be, before being Bella, before every fame, she’s HUMAN. And humans make mistakes. I really hope Rob will give another chance to Kris, or at least express himself and ask to the medias to leave Kris alone and stop mixin private life with professionnal life. Kris cheated, OK, Rupert too, that does not mean she’s evil, she doesn’t deserve to have her carreer destroyed just for a flirt.

Kristen Stewart is a homewrecker, a drug user, an addict, and a terrible actress.

She needs to leave movies forever.

  15. CRTG • August 29, 2012 @ 2:00 PM

And you know this how Trevor??? This website??? Other people’s opinion??? Your crystal ball?? Go lay down. Rest. You will feel better in the morning…oh it’s you…probably not.

  16. Sparky • August 29, 2012 @ 3:23 PM

You don’t need a crystal ball to know she’s a terrible actress just watch any film with her in it, LOL! Once a cheater always a cheater! Rob is an idiot “IF” he takes her back, he’ll live a constant anxious state of mistrust with her. Also SUE your a freakin MORON! If someone on this site should STFU, IT’S YOU!

  17. Snepts • August 29, 2012 @ 11:47 PM

This conversation is starting to make the Michael Jackson pedophile boards look tame!

  18. Meow Meow • August 30, 2012 @ 7:59 AM

No one can turn off emotions in an instant after a serious relationship ends, but once a cheater, always a cheater. – Meow p.s. people…. this article isn’t real… it’s made up.
