Robert Pattinson turns down Burberry offer

Robert Pattinson has reportedly turned down a deal for more than $1.5 million to become the face of Burberry. According to the British paper Sunday Mirror, the Twilight star turned down the offer on the spot, saying he’s an actor and doesn’t want to do modelling. A source said: “[Designer] Christopher [Bailey] and the Burberry team were desperate to sign Robert as the main person in their new campaign. It would grace all their stores worldwide and be in all the best publications. They went to Robert but he immediately, politely, turned them down. As far as Robert sees things he’s an actor by trade and that’s his art. He doesn’t want to start becoming a brand or anything.” Past Burberry models include Harry Potter star Emma Watson.

Wow. Doesn’t want to follow in the big footsteps of such great actors like Matthew McConaughey lol. Or Ashton who poses for Cannon. Good for him.
