After having an awkward Thanksgiving dinner with his family in London, Robert Pattinson told his The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 co-star/supposed girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, it would be best if they celebrated Christmas separately. Earlier this year, Stewart was caught having an affair with her Snow White & the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Although Rob seems to have forgiven Kristen, it has been a rocky road since then and it wasn’t until last month that Robert’s sisters — Victoria, 29, and Lizzy, 27 — reportedly forgave Stewart for her infidelities. However, a source close to the couple says that the “meal on Thanksgiving…was nerve racking for Kristen,” adding that Stewart “felt very uncomfortable and Rob’s sisters couldn’t be completely welcoming.” ~Brandon Bastaldo

Your writer is correct, “supposed” girlfriend. I’m pretty sure they never got back together after Kristen proved to be a tramp. Rob deserves better and I hope he knows that. Probably they’ll announce their “split” as soon as the studio tells them they can go ahead with that.
Well if they are really together, he’s made a good decision to stay away from her at Christmas. It might give him time to think things over and see her for what she is.
At Thanksgiving dinner, “Kristen” was the turkey. Now Rob has decided he doesn’t want another “Turkey Dinner”.
I think he lowered his standards by taking her back.

The English celebrate Thanksgiving now? I thought it was only an American/Canadian celebration.
Forgiveness is a good thing, shortly before her (supposed) infidelity, my husband cheated on me. I was able to forgive him, and he proceeded to f**k things up even more. Now with EVERYTHING he’s done, I know there is no way to forgive him, but we are only human, we ALL make mistakes… unfortunately some make bigger f**k ups than others..
I do believe she did cheat, and I am unsure if their getting back together is because of a contract that says they have to be together because of Breaking Dawn or if they actually decided to give it another go, but either way, it is THEIR personal life, and Rob shows that you can forgive someone for their mistakes. Kristen seems to be wanting to make things better/fix her relationship, so why not let them?
I have never really liked her, and I kind of lost respect for her because of this infidelity, but if she makes Rob happy, then isn’t that all that matters? We don’t know the full story, only they do, so let them live their lives, and if she really is a tramp, then she will show her true colours and Rob will not stay with her.

The British don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. Why would they? It’s strictly a Canadian/American thing about how our countries came to be here. And I doubt they’d do it especially because Kristen was there. Bogus story. The media is just trying to stir an empty pot. There’s no story here. Even if they are back together, if they’re happy and Rob can forgive her then best of luck to them.
The North American Thanksgiving is actually based on a much older English tradition. Thanksgiving celebrations in England date back to Henry VIII although it has been observed and celebrated, formally since the mid 1600s.
Oh, and by the way, the Canadian Thanksgiving is based on the English one and has nothing to do with how Canada came to be here.
What makes me think this story is crap is that Brits don’t celebrate Thanksgiving.
The Canadian Thanksgiving began in the 1500’s with the explorer Martin Frobisher, then got more popular when FrenchCanadians that had moved to New England settled back here with Champlain. (I am Canadian)

I suspect the author got it right with “girlfriend” because the relationship has been a marketing scam from the start: She never was a real girlfriend, and her contract is almost up.
As to ‘Thanksgiving’ it was a source ‘close’ to them that used the term, not R&K. The ‘source’ may have said it, but their dinner could actually have been for any reason.
Canadian, British, or American, I’d celebrate Thanksgiving every day if I had made a fortune from a series of movies that had required so little talent or ability from me.

What’s so special about this unattractive Rob Pattison that thinks he is so special and important? They are both young and maybe she was just not ready for a commitment but the public and the media would not leave her alone. She should move on with her career and dump this self-centered wannabe actor who will fade away after all the twilight movies.
Infidelity changes a relationship no matter if forgiveness is given. It, simply, will never be the same. How can there ever be romance when one has cheated on another. Trust is a major part of a relationship, without that….there is nothing. And once one cheats, they will usually do it again…
Always love how cheating on someone is a “mistake”. A mistake is when you are in some way forgetful or make an error in judgement. Cheating on someone is a moral and ethical issue, not a mistake. She was conscious of what she was doing and knew what would be the outcome of her actions should she proceed. That is not a mistake, that is a conscious decision. Stop making excuses for people who can’t be happy with what they have and then look elsewhere expecting to be “forgiven”. If she cheats on you, move on. Its the lowest form of insult and breach of trust one can commit. Not to mention, you will never trust her fully again. Stop wasting time, you can’t live forever.

Well Anne, if she wasn’t ready for a commitment then she should have stayed single instead of f**king someone else. I agree with Lola, once someone in a relationship has cheated, it’s never the same. There will never, never, never be trust. And for anyone else who ever dates her, they’ll have a hard time trusting her as well, because now she’s a famous cheater. The entire world knows she isn’t a loyal person even when she claims to be in love.

I think the whole story is non-sense.
First off, google Thanksgiving and you will see that it is celebrated in MANY countries. And no, they do not celebrate the American Thanksgiving.
Second, does anyone remember when Angelina Jolie cheated with a married man? Do you also remember that that married man was Brad Pitt and that he cheated on Jennifer Aniston? Where was all the Angelina bashing and calling her a tramp and whore? Geez, people need to just leave them alone. This is NOT the first time someone in Hollywood cheated with someone else. It certainly won’t be the last time either. Have you all forgotten about the guy that Kristen cheated with? I don’t see any bashing on him? And he was married with kids. If you are going to bash one then you better be bashing them both. IT TAKES 2.
Just another quick note. Maybe Rob and/or Kristen don’t look happy in pics because of the hundreds of cameras that are always there in their face. You don’t have to have miserable relationship to look have a miserable look on your face. You can just be in a pissed off mood at anything. They can celebrate Thanksgiving, doesn’t mean it’s a national English holiday. He does spend a lot of time out here in N. America, so maybe it was an offer of celebration dinner and having her over for it. Doesn’t necessarily make the story bogus.
As for the cheating, ‘Stephanie’ that horribly sucks for you that it also happened. Sucks for anyone. Trust is one of the biggest relationship factors on anyones top 10 list of factors which make a healthy relationship.

First, I still don’t believe they’re back together. And that it’s only their producers insisting they appear that way while Breaking Dawn is still out.
Second, I completely understand where his sisters are coming from. If I had a brother that had been cheated on by his girlfriend & he’s thinking of forgiving her, I’d slap him behind the head and tell him “There are plenty of fishes in the sea”, Go find someone else.
Thanksgiving is a purely American traditon, not even Canadian, don’t you remember in school that the Pilgrims & the Natives had a first meal together, hence the first Thanksgivibg meal, we always dressed ad Pilgrims or Natives. Also might Iadd that Everyone who saw Kristen & Rob together after promos have said the 2 are fine. Also there are a lot of photos of Tob’s family, and sisters w/ her not posing for cameras but behind the scenes. Has anyone ever considered the possibility of some bullying and/or sexual harassment on the part of Rupert Sanders? He is older, was in a position of authority… He should have known better. Is there any possibility that Kristen felt he was in a position to trash or block her career if she didn’t go along with his advances? I do not condone the situation – but why does everyone trash Kristen without casting any blame on the other half of this situation?

Hello the girl just kissed the guy she never had sex with him…. i believe that people calling people tramp and other nasty things are i believe a sign of bullying and are we not trying to teach our children its harmful and unwanted. At any rate, this just goes to show that they are human. Whenever someone is cheated on in a relationship the family does act frosty because they obviously don’t want that person to be hurt. And even if the person who was cheated on forgives, the family won’t be so forgiving. I’m they can move past the affair, good on them, but from what I’ve personally witnessed it won’t last much longer.
