Robert Pattinson confirmed for 4th Twilight

Rob Pattinson at Cannes May 19, 2009Robert Pattinson, who’s currently at the Cannes Film Festival before travelling to Italy to continue filming on The Twilight Saga: New Moon, confirmed to reporters while in France that he has committed to reprising his role as Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn, the fourth movie installment in the Twilight series. Pattinson’s very much in demand right now. After finishing New Moon, he’ll first shoot the romance Remember Me, then return to Vancouver to film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Following that, he’ll join Hugh Jackman on the set of the period western Unbound Captives, and then he’ll play a corrupt journalist in Bel Ami, to be filmed in Paris sometime next year.

    It’s good that the actors keep going to the end. It’s hard as a viewer to watch a series of movies and have one character played by different actors. Glad to hear he is staying on.

    True, I will agree to that, Carol, but I really felt that they picked the wrong actors to play Edward and Bella.

    no way t.g…he is totally Edward…I didn’t think so at first, but he really did do good with the part. When I first read the books and had a pic of Edward in my head, he was totally not it, but he did grow into it.

    i think the casting for twilight was all wrong. pattinson LOOKS like an Edward, he does have a vampirish thing about him, but while stewart is a respectable actress, she was a really bad pick for bella.

    and the rest of the cast? well, i could go on.

    No I disagree, I feel that the actors they have chosen are perfect for the role.
