they should probably rethink the award.
she isn’t a great actress at all, she plays the same annoying female characters in all of her movies.

crazy on you, That comment was totally gay!
You should rethink your entire comment! She’s doing it and you aren’t. Sorry for you! Maybe the Wilson Sisters will help you get a role, then you could be the diverse actress that you are!! LOL!!

I agree totally with their choice of star for this award…Julia Roberts has had an extensive career and she is truly a “movie star”.

I do not agree with the comments that she is not a talented actress…she definitely is and has been for many years.

It’s important to show young people that there are true “celebrities” and movie stars around….some of us are more concerned with their talent, not the stupid media stuff we see today about their personal lives.

firstly gay is not another word for stupid, i find that really offensive and secondly its called an opinion.
but thanks for adding in the personal shots as if you knew anything about me and my career.
I do not feel that she is a great actress you can have your own opinion about it but from my point of view she has only done 1 good role and that was erin brockovich.
there are many MANY more great actresses/actors who are more qualified for this award in my opinion.
and she does play the same woman in all of her movies… maybe she is just typecasted but i havent seen anything refreshing or mind blowing in any of her roles

    Or The Pelican Brief
I guess Flatliners is a little too old for ya, eh?
They weren’t talking about best actress for the last couple years, as she has been having kids. She’s been acting probably longer than you’ve been alive!!! Don’t talk so Gay!! Firstly isn’t a word, but I won’t beat you up over it, I can live with that.
These actresses that are better, are you talking about 22 yr old Scarlett Johanssen?
Relax…She and other young actresses will get their due when their older. That’s how it works.
Where I’m from, gay IS a word for stupid. It also meant happy until it was hijacked by the homosexual community. Get Over It!!!!
    Queer means odd. Get it?
Don’t be so presumptious and offended by mere English!!!

ok that was your comment… which states your opinion.
thats great for you and you can say whatever you feel i just dont agree. ive seen all of those movies thank you very much, how old do you think i am? 18? now who is being presumptuous? i just PERSONALLY do not feel this was a great choice and no scarlett johanssen is not a better candidate, she is a terrible actress. i was thinking more along the lines of helen mirren, dame judy dench, maggie smith, helena bohnam carter.
now about the proper uses of the word gay.
i have no problem with people using it in its proper context. using it in place of stupid is not one of those cases. it does mean happy and queer does mean odd but nowhere does it mean stupid. that is a modern term associating it to the differences in sexual orientation and stating that those who are homosexual are wrong and immoral and of a confused state of mind therefore in some crazy closeminded persons head stupid.
gay was no hijacked by anyone, it was forced upon them by society.
i do not feel i am presumptious, but then again its your opinion of me.
the english language does not offend me when people use the terms correctly instead of how 18 years olds and other mass groups use it these days.
