Robin Thicke arrested for drug possession

Award-winning R&B singer-songwriter Robin Thicke was arrested in New York last week after police spotted him smoking marijuana in a car. Although Thicke wasn’t actually driving, the singer was served with a desk appearance ticket and released — he was the only one in the car who was charged. Thicke was reportedly very cooperative with police throughout the arrest and even agreed to sign autographs and pose for pictures with staff after being taken in.

Thicke, son of popular sitcom star Alan Thicke, shot to fame after the widespread success of his second studio album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke. He has since collaborated with many big names including 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi and Jennifer Hudson. His fifth album, Love After War, was released this past December.
