Missing PosterMetallica is offering $50,000 reward for the safe return of a fan who went missing at their October 17 concert. Morgan Harrington’s parents are offering $100,000 for her return or information leading to the arrest of the party responsible for her disappearance and thank Metallica on their website, FindMorgan.com, for adding $50,000 to the fund. Metallica has an announcement on their official website with the heading: “One Of Our Fans is Missing,” which goes on to say: We are deeply concerned about the disappearance of 20 year old Virginia Tech student Morgan Dana Harrington, who was last seen while attending our concert at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA, on Saturday night… She was not carrying I.D. or a cell phone. Morgan was separated from her friends shortly before 9pm at the venue. We encourage anyone who has any information regarding Morgan’s disappearance to please come forward. Additionally, if you or anyone you know shot video footage or took photos of the concert or audience, please check to see if there is anyone in your photos who might resemble Morgan… Our thoughts are with Morgan and her family for her safe return.

Kudos to Metallica, maybe now people will be less judge mental toward heavy metal bands. those who think all heavy metal bands do is drink, smoke and do drugs, nice to see a group like Matelicca do something out of cocern for their fans

i think that it’s a good idea for Metallica to be apart of this because the more publicity about the subject the more people who’ll look for her and there’s a reward to top it off. I hope she’s found.:(

I love Metallica. I think it is great that they are contributing to this and hope that Morgan is found and comes home safe to her friends and family.
