Rodriguez locked up for Christmas

Michelle RodriguezFormer Lost star Michelle Rodriguez reported to jail Sunday in Lynwood, California to begin serving a six-month sentence for violating probation in a DUI case. Lynwood is the same facility where Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan did their time. Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell forbids an early release for Rodriguez, but the sheriff may have no choice due to jail overcrowding, legal experts say. The last time Rodriguez checked in at Lynwood was in May 2006, when she was sentenced to serve 60 days for DUI, but served only four hours due to overcrowding.

I guess Governor Arnold is asleep there in California. Who is in charge of their judicial system in LA LA land? Revolving jail house doors for the drunk drivers (well, all except for Keifer) Maybe he should start going drag.

Stop serving freakin’ turkey dinner in these jails and maybe there will not be any overcrowding. Going to jail is a good way to get a free Christmas dinner and not be alone.

There is a valid reason te celebrities spend so little time in jail. The jails are so over crowded and under staffed that the smartest thing to do is to release inmates that would take to much of the staffs time babysitting.

If I were the judge I would make the Lohans etc. watch their own movies or constant listening of their music. If Cons were forced to watch that Love Bug movie over and over as punishment the jails would be empty.
