Russell Brand gives Katy Perry the house

Russell Brand is reportedly surrendering the $6.5 million Los Angeles mansion that he and singer Katy Perry purchased during their marriage. The comedian/actor filed for divorce from the pop singer in December, citing irreconcilable differences. Due to no prenuptial agreement, Brand is entitled to half of Perry’s $44 million fortune, but doesn’t want it. The 36-year-old said he wants nothing from his estranged wife, just the finalized divorce, which will be official on June 30. Brand also said he has no negative feelings towards his ex-wife or the situation. He recently claimed, “I’m doing well. You don’t need to brush it off if you don’t get it on you in the first place,” and added, “I don’t have to let anything go. I don’t hold on to anything negative. It’s the same as zero-ness.” Brand is currently rumored to be dating Hungarian model Nikolett Barabas. ~Renita Naraine
