Russell CroweOscar-winning actor Russell Crowe was filming the Lionsgate thriller The Next Three Days  in Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon when the van he was sitting in was front ended by a fire truck responding to an emergency call, according to ABC news. Crowe’s co-star, Elizabeth Banks, was also in the van when it was struck but neither actor was injured, nor was anyone involved. Local reporter Jon Greiner said one firefighter called the incident rather embarrassing. According to onlookers, Crowe was laughing when he exited the van, and stopped to sign autographs for fans before returning to work.

Russell Crowe was laughing? I would have thought that he’d get out of the van and try to beat up one of the firefighters. I wish he’d done that and gotten the crap beaten out of him.

I love this guy, good humor after the fact he was just hit by a fire truck. I’m glad he didn’t throw a phone at anyone this time. lol

I love this actor and his work and I think that he is getting a bad wrap for loosing his temper…he is neither the first nor the last celebrity to loose their cool, and many lesser men are more easily forgiven….laughing at
the absurdity of the accident I believe reflects his real
    personality…..

Ken u suck! Like to see you tell Russell that. I hate reading comments from gutless snipers like you.You got a prob with him tell him about it. Get some balls!

Thank You Dan, for commenting the way you did. Its good to tell people like Ken that we hate reading those type of “comment”(actually putdowns-disrespect) from others when it is totally Not necessary. Maybe they should go to a Self-Esteem workshop and learn that Every1 matters here on this Earth. Yes, sadly people like him wouldn’t go tell Mr. Crowe what they think about him. Usually they go onto forums like this and sound off thinking EVERYONE will think like them. Thank goodness that a lot of People were raised to Respect other Human Beings. The more you Respect yourself and Feel Good about yourself, then the Less you will want to even think of putting others down. You’ll be too Busy enjoying the rest of your Life, that we all have on this World. Life is way too short to waste it on pedy things! Live and let Live.

so do you have an opinion on the article or not?

  8. tributegirl • October 17, 2009 @ 6:29 PM

It would be “rather embarrassing” for the firefighters, I wonder how this happened?

  9. Carol • October 17, 2009 @ 10:07 PM

Ken is entitled to his opinion, let him be. It would be more beneficial to give your thoughts/opinions and back them up as opposed to criticising his. I don’t like Russell Crowe. I think he has a bad temper, I think he is not a bad actor, but far from great, and at the end of the day, who cares…he is fine. So really, what is the story here?

  10. Ken • October 18, 2009 @ 7:55 AM

You people are way too funny. You care more about my comment about Russell Crowe than he probably does.

  11. moondog • October 18, 2009 @ 11:31 AM

crowe wont even b readin this so who cares? say what u want.

  12. Firefighter • October 18, 2009 @ 11:54 AM

Russell Crowe is a douchebag, next time I’ll make sure he doesn’t walk away.

  13. Ken • October 18, 2009 @ 12:43 PM

And FYI, people don’t “loose” their temper. The “lose” instead. And then go buy a dictionary.

  14. moondog • October 18, 2009 @ 2:54 PM

lmao the last 2 comments r really funny!

  15. Nancy • October 18, 2009 @ 3:28 PM

    Firefighter: BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  16. Jo-Anne • October 18, 2009 @ 5:44 PM

like what you say – agree with your post, Heather.

I am a huge fan of Crowe’s work and consider him one of the finest actors around today.

this minor incident actually shows him in an extremely positive light, absolutely nothing out of sorts happening here…

  17. Ken • October 19, 2009 @ 11:29 PM

Okay, okay … I take it back. I too am glad that Russell Crowe didn’t “loose” his temper.

    HaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaHaa

  18. Jo-Anne • October 25, 2009 @ 3:12 PM

geez, I hope you commanded one of your 3 weakest links to copy all your “funnies” in case you want to use them again, nance, as your posts seem to keep disappearing….

  19. Nancy • October 25, 2009 @ 8:42 PM

Actually Tribute Troll, none of my comments have disappeared all weekend….so what are you talking about? Never mind. I really don’t give a ‘beep’!!

  20. Jo-Anne • October 25, 2009 @ 9:45 PM

not only do you give a beep Nancy, so do all your buds here….my name is mentioned in, count it, almost every single one of your posts….repeatedly…who are you lonely women trying to convince that you don’t NOT ONLY frantically look for my posts, you respond to every one of them including even the ones that weren’t addressing you….LMAO at its finest

transparency at its best….but not one of you strong enough to handle discussion of anything on your own…always calling out to the others….sad bunch

how I miss the good ol’ days on here, when a number of interesting intelligent regular posters visited and actually had some substance to their posts…sigh….

  21. Nancy • October 25, 2009 @ 11:19 PM

Who’s the hypocrite now? We don’t call out to each other, it’s called RESPECT (of course, YOU wouldn’t understand). We RESPECT each other and when we see that YOU have come out of the blue and started bashing not one but all 3 of us, actually make that 5 of us, “frantically” looking for our posts and responding to EVERY one of them, “including even the ones that weren’t addressing you….LMAO at its finest” for sure! I can put you in your place on my worst day! The “intelligent regular posters” are still here, they are just sick and tired of your BS and constantly picking on their spelling and grammar! Things were great while you were getting your “hand job” (hahaha, Gypsy) done. If that surgeon only knew that you were wasting it causing sh!t online!

  22. Jo-Anne • October 26, 2009 @ 7:55 AM

they “respect” you, nance…you can’t even see straight then they dare to disagree with you….black and white….check it out….

no, you’re wrong and you know it, many have left and cited you as the reason they can’t be bothered….black and white…check it out….

oh, and the crass finale is your true colours blaring yet again….

  23. tributegirl • October 26, 2009 @ 8:51 PM

“dare to disagree” with Nancy? Nancy, we’ve disagreed before, on many different topics, but we disagree in a very respectful way, but obviously she hasn’t even grasped that concept yet. And as far as Nancy being the reason people have left this site, according to my memory, which is pretty good, many have left because of Jo-Anne, including her very own sis.

  24. Jo-Anne • October 27, 2009 @ 8:00 AM

    Respect???
For an adult parent bully who uses inappropriate lewd infantile lingo to ram their opinion down everyone’s throats?????

don’t hold your breath on this one happening…

  25. tributegirl • October 27, 2009 @ 7:20 PM

    “your mom”

  26. Nancy • October 28, 2009 @ 6:44 PM

I don’t “ram” my opinion down anyones throat. They eat what they want, hahaha.

  27. Jo-Anne • October 28, 2009 @ 7:32 PM

hmmmmm…the “appetite” for your opinion seems to have…..diminished….virtually disappeared…letter by painful letter…overnight….imagine that….

    hahahaha
