Russell Crowe hit by fire truck

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe was filming the Lionsgate thriller The Next Three Days  in Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon when the van he was sitting in was front ended by a fire truck responding to an emergency call, according to ABC news. Crowe’s co-star, Elizabeth Banks, was also in the van when it was struck but neither actor was injured, nor was anyone involved. Local reporter Jon Greiner said one firefighter called the incident rather embarrassing. According to onlookers, Crowe was laughing when he exited the van, and stopped to sign autographs for fans before returning to work.
