Ryan Gosling is reportedly ready to pop the big question to girlfriend Eva Mendes, according Star magazine. The U.S. tabloid claims that the 32-year-old Canadian heartthrob has met with designer Neil Lane to discuss engagement rings. A source revealed “Eva told Ryan she wants to be engaged by the time she’s 40, but he was already planning a proposal.” Eva, 39, formed a real life romance with Gosling after they co-starred in Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines. Ryan is currently working on his directorial debut, Hot to Catch a Monster, in which Eva plays a starring role. The source also claims that Gosling is planning a romantic getaway once filming wraps, saying, “He tricked her into believing the trip is to celebrate the movie.
