Ryan O’Neal investigated for art theft

An Andy Warhol painting that was missing may have been found hanging in Ryan O’Neal‘s bedroom. The painting belonged to his late partner, Farrah Fawcett, who left it in her will along with the rest of her art collection to her alma mater, the University of Texas. The painting is a silkscreen portrait of the late actress, believed to be worth $30 million. The university had hired a private investigator to determine its whereabouts. Viewers of Ryan’s new reality series with his daughter, Tatum O’Neal, called Ryan and Tatum: The O’Neals, spotted a portrait that looks like the missing artwork hanging above Ryan’s bed. O’Neal’s rep claims that “all of Farrah’s wishes expressed in her will have been fulfilled.” Ryan, 70, was quoted as saying after Farrah’s death: “You know, Farrah was a very strong presence in my life… I live in the same house that we lived in together. The things that are nice in my house are the things that she got me… I had somebody that I loved.” The Warhol portrait is also mentioned in Tatum’s new book, Found: A Daughter’s Journey Home. She wrote: “On every wall, there are pictures of us and the rest of the family in our golden days. The original poster from Paper Moon, Andy Warhol’s portrait of Farrah.”

I wonder if Ryan is as bad as he’s made out to be. I saw a clip from their show and Ryan made a joke about something and Tatum took it the wrong way and almost was crying. I was like, where’s your sense of humour? I’m sure he wasn’t the greatest father, but maybe he’s also somewhat misunderstood.
