Rumors about American Idol host Ryan Seacrest being gay have circulated for quite some time. Even though he’s been in a public relationship with Julianne Hough for the past few years, hushed whispers about Seacrest’s closeted homosexuality continue to hound him. But now, reality TV star Reza Farahan is stepping up to let everyone know those “rumors are stupid.” Farahan stars on Shahs of Sunset: a reality TV show about a group of Iranian American friends living in Beverly Hills, executive produced by Seacrest. Farahan, 38, is an openly gay real estate agent who has little tolerance for gay men still in the closet. When asked about Seacrest concealing his sexuality, Farahan told The Huffington Post that “Ryan is not gay,” adding he’s “100 percent sure.” If Farahan feels anything for Seacrest, it’s the utmost admiration as the realtor explains he finds Ryan “such an accomplished human being,” and notes that when around Seacrest, “you get caught up in what this person has done in the world rather than who he has done.” ~Brandon Bastaldo

Kelly Ripa has a new co-host for her morning show. Almost a year after Michael Strahan left, Ryan Seacrest is bringing his talents to the show with “Live.”
He’s a pretty boy but clearly not gay. But what this article reminds me of is that as much as I like his personality I CAN’T STAND the fact that he produces all this reality TV garbage. Shahs of Sunset… really??? Kardashians… I like Ryan, but hate what he is doing to the television airwaves.
He is an accomplished pretty boy. Doesn’t make him gay. Even if he comes out later in life (it does happen that a guy discovers he was always gay later in life) does it matter? Who knows, with his radio show, his guest starring on shows and doing all his interviews and being interviewed himself, and filling in for other hosts, and New Years Eve, and his producing of shows and Am Idol, I don’t know how he can have time to date anyone. Maybe it’s a front? Or maybe it’s real. Time will tell.
Maybe because he’s so white bread dull that they Hollywood machine has to generate some weird press about him to keep him in the news. Who knows… I still don’t think Tom Cruise is gay though. Is he weird? Yes. But even if he is gay, so what, but I don’t think he is…
I mean he’s been publicly dating a nice looking woman for three years. So Seacrest’s employee says he’s straight as straight can be? I believe them, I mean, what employee who’s sole income depends on a once in a lifetime opportunity wouldn’t “out” their boss? I have pretty finely tuned gay-dar and it tells me that Seacrest is gay. But I am by no means a homophobe…would just rather see him be true to himself and not live a secret life. Man….it’s 2013…would his popularity really take a hit if he was gay? Don’t think so. I read some story about him out shopping in West LA or somewhere with his “friend” who he tried to distance himself from when he was approached. According to what I read (can’t believe everything you read but still) his “friend” was miffed that he was being pushed into the shadows again.
Ryan, you have the money, the fame, the successful career….if you are gay just come out and be free man. It’s not like you are missing out on the role of the next James Bond, or you’re going to be cast as this generation’s Rambo. At the very least most people view you as heavily metro sexual. So how much do you stand to lose really? His GF just came out and said that she was physically abused multiple times starting at 10 by more than one man. Is it that big of a reach to see that Ryan gives her a platonic sanctuary?

Oh… my… goodness… Why are people making a big deal of this? If he is, fine. I could give two cents about it. If he’s not, okay. Also fine. Please just SHUT UP ABOUT IT!
By the way, “Zelda”, I watch Glee. I am a big GLEEk. Only two people (Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch) in the main cast are gay. Don’t be so assumptive and condescending, please.
