Sacha Baron Cohen to wed Isla Fisher

Engaged since 2004, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher will finally be getting married next year. Britain’s Heat magazine confirmed the news, adding that plans are being made for a ceremony in May or June 2010.  Recently, the actress blamed their busy schedules for their delay in making the walk down the aisle. Cohen and Fisher want an intimate wedding, and the ceremony is likely to take place in London.  A source revealed that the two stars are planning to invite only family and close friends. “Isla and Sacha want a small wedding that will include only family and their closest friends — possibly fewer than 50 people,” said the source. In October 2007, Fisher gave birth to the couple’s first child, a girl named Olive.  That same year, the actress converted to Judaism, Cohen’s religion, and adopted the Hebrew name Ayala. Sacha Baron Cohen starred in Bruno this year and will next be seen on the big screen in a Sherlock Holmes project with Will Ferrell.  Isla Fisher was last seen in Confessions of a Shopaholic. ~Patricia Gougeon
