Scarlett Johansson receives star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame

Fanboys rejoice! You now have the opportunity to walk all over Scarlett Johansson. The sultry actress received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame yesterday, becoming the 2,470th celebrity to be awarded the honor. At the ceremony, Johansson was humble, saying it was an honor she had never even considered. “Never ever in my 20 years in this industry would I ever, ever have thought my receiving this star would be even a remote possibility.” On-hand to support the starlet was her mother and grandmother as well her Avengers co-stars Jeremy Renner and Clark Gregg. In a speech during the event, Renner kept things light, poking fun at the 27-year-old bombshell. “Working with her was tremendous—ly awful. For six months, she continuously threw me around, beat me, stepped on me and wiped the floor with my dignity and self-respect every day—all with a smile on her face.”~Kyle Sharp

These day no award is recoginized as being deserved. As for the stars on the sidewalk these days if they run out of dead stars or oldtimers they just pick one out of a hat that is current.
