Scarlett Johansson shoots down Marine’s invitation

Scarlett Johansson has turned down a YouTube request from Marine Sgt. Dustin L. Williams, who invited her to attend the Marine Corps Ball with him. In the video, he says, “Recently I noticed in the media that a lot of Marines have been asking celebrities to the ball, so I was thinking, if I could ever ask anybody to the ball, who would it be? I mean, obviously they need to be beautiful, classy… who would it be?” The video then cuts to a photo of Johansson in a gown. Other Marines have successfully landed dates with Friends with Benefits stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. Betty White turned down an invite, saying she couldn’t take the time away from filming her TV series Hot in Cleveland. Johansson didn’t give a reason, but politely turned down the request, saying in a statement: “I feel incredibly honored to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by Sgt. Dustin L. Williams. Not only does Sgt. Williams deserve recognition for his bravery, selflessness and dedication to the United States and its people, but he also displays a cheeky talent for filmmaking.”

I’m not a fan of hers but she did this with class and to be honnest, those YouTube invites are getting a little ridiculous. If you’re gonna turn it down, this is the way to do it. She probably had a lot of help from her publicist though.

It Doesn’t take a beautiful woman to have a(its called) a Relationship. What If all women Weren’t beautiful but OLD and had Lots of wrinkles, would you ask one of us out then?? I doubt it was actually her who replied. It was likely one of her team members lol. BUT on a flip side, he good for him. I think she is not too bad (except for breaking Canadian boy Ryan Reynolds heart), I’d still like her on my arm at a ball anytime.

I would have invited not just to one, but two balls.
