Sean Penn returns to Three Stooges

By Alexandra Heilbron on January 7, 2010 | 10 Comments

Sean Penn is once again on board to film The Three Stooges. Last summer, Penn backed out of several projects to spend time with family. The Boston Herald reports that the actor has returned to star as Larry in the new film directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly. Bobby Farrelly confirmed the news and revealed that Penn wanted to do the film after he spent quality time with his family, even though he is now divorced from Robin Wright. Benicio Del Toro will play Moe. Jim Carrey finally turned down the role of Curly and so far, no actor has been named as his replacement. ~Patricia Gougeon

  1. Kudos Jim! • January 7, 2010 @ 4:55 PM

As funny as Jim Carrey is, I REALLY don’t see him as being a good Curly. What’s Horatio Sanz up to these days?

Have YOU ever put on 40lbs before? I wouldn’t be surprised if it made him feel like such crap to be that overweight, so he decided his life wasn’t work risking for the role.

Hey genius, I believe “@ ugh” was commenting to “ugh”, not to the subject of your most recent dreams.
    @ ugh, I agree.
Carol, I don’t know either, he is a really great actor, but I haven’t heard much about his personality that I like.

would it not be easier for you, t.g., to just copy and paste all nance’s remarks and say “ditto”…..just a suggestion

after all, your remarks are severely limited to her “do’s and say’s”…

She’s nothing but an instigator. She goes around trying to drive wedges between people. ie: Tributegirl and Mandee; Tributegirl and Carol; Tributegirl and Nancy; Carol and Nancy; Mandee and Nancy; etc., etc., she’s done it to each and every one of us.
