Second sex abuse lawsuit against Bryan Singer: Update

X-Men director Bryan Singer‘s anonymous U.K. accuser said he has physical evidence in the sex abuse case against Singer and Hollywood producer Gary Goddard during a press conference Monday, May 5. The plaintiff’s lawyer Jeff Herman showed photos of the plaintiff as a teen with the two defendants. According to Herman, one of the photos was taken at an afterparty following the 2006 London premiere of Superman Returns. In the shot Singer can be seen with actress Kate Bosworth and a 17-year-old boy (allegedly the plaintiff). Another picture displayed at the conference showed John Doe – as the accuser is referred to in the suit – wearing a towel (see photo above). This photo was sent vie email allegedly from Goddard with the subject line “the closest thing I have to a ‘naughty’ shot of you.” In the email, he goes on to explain “…because you wouldn’t let me take any of you showing even a bit of your bum.” Herman also said that on Saturday, May 3, Goddard attempted to communicate with his accuser via the Internet, asking how he was doing, but the young man didn’t respond. The lawyer added the plaintiff still has the envelope with his premiere ticket, as well as a Superman Returns souvenir bracelet. Singer’s lawyer, Marty Singer (no relation), said, “We will prove [the latest allegations] to be completely false.” ~Alexandra Sharova
