Selena Gomez blames Justin Bieber for rehab stint

It seems like rehab has become the go-to destination for young Hollywood stars these days. “Selena [Gomez] voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse,” confirmed the 21-year-old star’s rep. The singer/actress, who reportedly blames on-again/off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber for her stint in rehab, was admitted to The Meadows in Arizona on January 5. She was placed in DAWN, a two-week program that focuses on 18 to 26 year olds who are “struggling with emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns.” Sources close to Selena told TMZ that the excessive partying lifestyle that Justin and his pals led took a heavy toll on her, and family and friends urged her to seek help for her out-of-control partying and alleged marijuana use. Selena recently cancelled the Australian leg of her Stars Dance tour to focus on her personal well-being. ~Yara Matar

I am so sick of hearing about these spoiled brat celebs and their poor lives of partying too much and having to go to rehab. I know its been said before, but, too young, too rich and no direction or responsibility in their self indulgent lives.
is she kidding me she could have walked away or said no i don’t think anyone held a gun to her head to party or use marijuana…i doubt anyone has that much power…nice try though she alone is to blame for her using and partying….regardless of what she may say everyone has choices including her i don’t think she is the type to be influence like that if she wasn’t in the past year what makes him soooo special i’m sure he was not her first boyfriend …it nice to blame someone else for your actions
Those close to Selena Gomez have continued to warn her to stay away from Bieber. His troubles, attitude, partying, the way he treats people is constantly in the news. It’s not like she wasn’t aware of who he is and how he lives his life. Grow up Selena. You’re a smart, strong, intelligent woman, listen to those who really care about your well-being.
This is what responsible parents do for their kids. Support them for going to get assistance in a ‘troubled’ time probably the drugs thing. Even though from outside they look like they have everything figured out, sometimes they do not. Those that endure will always find ways to keep enduring. Those like bieber will flame out soon, 2014 is the last of him bieblieve it.
Teenage girls often feel they need to keep up to what their boyfriends are – to look “cool” in front of their friends. Luckily, she realized it wasn’t a good choice for her to be around him and I wish her all the best of luck now that she’s free of that creep.

Ms Gomez is the reason that Justin is freaking out all the time. She hangs with him as his so-called girlfriend. She only hangs with him because he is much more popular. then she goes on her own for a month and doesn’t have the popularity so she goes back the JB. If she would make up her mind about being with JB or leaving him forever, he could get on with his life. For you to say it is his fault just shows how low you can really go. When you go to rehab, it is your own fault. Live up to what you do. Do NOT blame others

At the time she started dating him, he was 16, looked 13 and had a squeaky clean image. He still had adults who were in charge of him. Once he turned 18, nobody could stop him from doing anything. So I don’t see that Selena is to blame that she had a nice boyfriend who went bad. I agree that she’s a sweet girl and just fell into the wrong crowd. However, I think she should have completed rehab instead of ditching it after two weeks.
Plenty of ready and willing babes out there for Justin, he doesn’t need her.
Take resposibility for your own actions. Don’t blame someone else Selena. I really do hope Justin gets help and comes through this. He really isn’t a jerk and it sucks that his handlers think this type of publicity is good. He’s burning too many people.
