Semi-ProWill Ferrell‘s new comedy, Semi-Pro, opened in the top spot at the weekend box office with just $15.2 million (all figures U.S.), the lowest opening take of any of his previous comedies. Vantage Point, starring Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox, dropped from the top spot to second, taking in an additional $13 million for a two-week total of $41 million. The Spiderwick Chronicles slid from second to third with $8.75 million. The historical drama The Other Boleyn Girl opened in fourth place, grossing $8.3 million, while Jumper rounded out the top five in its third weekend, taking in $7.6 million for a three-week total of $66.8 million.
