Sharkwater wins at NY Film Fest

Rob Stewart’s film Sharkwater took the top prize at the 2007 Gen Art Film Festival held in New York City. Not only did it win the Acura Grand Jury Prize of $10,000, but it took home the coveted Gen Art Film Festival Audience Award. Sharkwater has won 12 awards worldwide, and made history with the largest opening weekend of any Canadian documentary. It’s currently playing in theaters.
