Sharon Stone puts career on hold

Sharon Stone has decided to take time off from her career to care for her father, who’s in the terminal stages of cancer. Stone, who had been traveling regularly to her parents’ home in Montana, recently had her parents move into her luxurious Hollywood home where she lives with her three adopted children: Roan, 9, Laird, 4, and Quinn, 3. According to the National Enquirer, Joe Stone, 79, has been suffering from esophageal cancer since 2002. Doctors recently advised him that his days are now numbered. A source explained, “Right now it’s about making her father comfortable and spending as much time as she can with him and her mother. Sharon spent thousands of dollars fixing up a large bedroom in her home with a hospital bed and the special equipment her dad needs. She’s tried to make it as much like home as possible for her folks.” ~Patricia Gougeon

Very nice of her and shows just how caring and compassionate she is. As for her father, I hope he is happy in his final chapter and that he is comfortable in the room she has provided and equipped for him. Sad to see or hear of anyone suffering with such a disease.

Agreed, but it sounds like she is making his final days as happy and comfortable as possible. Which I think is awesome of her.
