Sherlock Holmes sequel already in the works

Sherlock HolmesWarner Bros. already has plans to do a sequel to Guy Ritchie‘s Sherlock Holmes, even though it doesn’t open in theaters until Christmas day, according to Variety. The  studio is in talks with screenwriting team Kieran and Michele Mulroney to pen the sequel. Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams star in the first film, written by Michael Johnson, Anthony Peckham, Simon Kinberg and Lionel Wigram and based on the classic stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.  Brad Pitt has reportedly been asked to play a role in the sequel.

    They sure don’t need Brad Pitt.The U.K. has plenty of talented actors.
