Sheryl Crow addresses brain tumor concerns

After her successful battle with breast cancer in 2006, Grammy winner Sheryl Crow revealed her health problems are not all in the past. Crow recently admitted that last November she discovered she has a brain tumor. The singer says the discovery was made when she went to the hospital to inquire about her apparent memory loss. Luckily, the tumor is benign and Crow assures her supportive fans they have nothing to worry about. Her spokeswoman, Christine Wolff, reported in an interview with E! News, “‘[Crow] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone.” However, reports of the brain tumor sent the media into a frenzy. Crow reassured her fans on Facebook, writing, “Hey everyone, please don’t worry about my ‘brain tumor,’ it’s a non-cancerous growth. I know some folks can have problems with this kind of thing, but I want to assure everyone I’m OK.” ~Stacy Raivich
