Shia LaBeouf, who stars in the upcoming Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, told the June issue of Playboy that if he could marry his hippie mother, Shayna, he would. “Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother. She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with her now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds,” he said. LaBeouf reveals when he was a kid, his mother and her friends would walk around the house naked. “That was strange for me, and it was really bizarre when my friends were there,” he admits. “You’ve got your little buds over, and mum’s, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever. She’s in the middle of goddess-group time, where it’s literally a bunch of naked women tracing auras around one another’s bodies with incense and then sitting together and humming for prolonged periods of time.” ~movi_alex

This could be taken in so many ways. What i think he was trying to say is he wants to meet a woman that has the same personality and spirituality as his mother. Who would marry their mother like seriously.. learn how to read between the lines.
Most mothers, would give anything to have such a great bond with her adult child.
He appears altogether “considering” his upbringing…

The mother is screwed up in the head and seriously needs help. She has no boundaries. She didn’t teach her son boundaries and walking around naked in front of him and his poor little friends,–what a freak! Would you want a mother like that? She seems more like a monster to me. She’s not beautiful, inside or out. She needs a psychiatrist!

Second that. If my kids went to their friends house and the mother was naked playing “connect the dots or whatever” I would have called the police or reported it to the school at the very least. Look at them in the picture…she looks like she��s not there mentally and he’s dragging her along. Poor guy, he was no doubt the laughing stock of his peers while growing up and now he’s stuck taking care of the nutcase.
If she was so spiritual she would have been in tune to her kid��s needs and put some damn clothes on before his friends came over. And for those that think this is normal behaviour for someone that “spiritual”, your all as crazy as she is!

I think what Shia is trying to convey is he’s attracted to an uninhibited woman who has no hangups being naked and is open sexually. She’s not self-concious of her appearance. It’s her attitude he loves, more than her ‘spirituality’.

Hey I’m all for spending the day naked while hanging around the house…but not when my son’s friends are there. Having no inhibitions is healthy, but so is having a son that isn’t pleasuring himself while thinking of you. Just wrong.

It’s disgusting…he certainly could’ve worded it better, makes them sound like a perverted, wannabe incestuous family. There are boundaries…you don’t parade naked around your house with company, let alone your kid’s friends. There is a boy who goes to high school with my daughter and his friends think his mother is hot. He’s mortified by that…can’t imagine him bringing them home and having her there naked.

And for her walking around naked …well back in the day people were more open and not taught to be ashamed of themselves also she is beautiful and prob more so back when he was younger.

lol Hey, I’m down for it! But most men already do! My son is already half way there…..I have to give him shLt when he walks around in a towel or his boxers while my daughter’s friends are over. I’m sure once he’s on his own, he’ll spend most of his days in the buff. To be honest, I miss the freedom of doing the same 🙂 The best I get these days are mad dashes around the house in bra and panties.

Agree with you. Nothing better than spending the day in the buff….at the appropriate times. Seems so sick to be sitting around with all your friends, stroking each other��s bodies, ooops I mean playing connect the dots in front of your kid and their friends. Besides, what��s he going to say? At the kid is smart enough to let the skeletons out of the closet himself before the media found out and ran with it.

I believe he meant that he’s attracted to a woman who can be open. Someone who is comfortable with who she is.
My only dislike about the whole situation is the walking around naked around his friends. Now if she was ok with HER son seeing HER friends nude…so be it, BUT the parents of his friends didn’t get a choice as to wheither their kids get to view stuff.
I am so pleased though that Shia is so close with his Mother. I hope my son and I can be close (even though I have stopped walking around nude since he has started to ask questions as to why I am different from him and Daddy LOL)

it’s natural for boys to be attracted to people LIKE their moms… especially if they have a strong relationship with them.

If you know anything about the time period & views, he’s talking about a nude naturalist group that probably had their ‘group’ in a separate room from the children, but if they needed a drink, just walked to the kitchen (nude) to get one.
