Shia LaBeouf’s actions due to child stardom

Shia LaBeouf's recent erratic behavior is reportedly due to the pressure of having been a child star. The actor's 2008 Holes co-star Siobhan Fallen Hogan believes his reckless actions have been spurred on by his inability to deal with fame from such a young age. Siobhan, who played Shia's mother in the movie, told the New York Post: ''I think there's a ton of pressure when you're in the acting business. It's hard growing up acting -- being a child actor. There's pressure to act the right way. And there's so much attention from the press that, if you make one wrong move, it's under a microscope. I can see that being hard for him.'' The Transformers star - who shot into the limelight at the age of 14 when he was cast in the TV series Even Stevens - was arrested at a Broadway theater last week for yelling offensive language and slapping people's butts during a performance of Cabaret at Studio 54 in New York City. Shia was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, and is set to appear in court on July 24.

He clearly has issues, however, he will still know the difference between right and wrong….slapping butts and being disruptive? Ten year olds know not to do this. His excuse would be what? Time to use some of that money for some counselling.

He’s keeping his name in the papers, which is a must for any celebrity today.

He WAS a child actor, agreed. He is now a grown adult acting like a child. Clearly, he needs a little help and some time away from the celebrity world. I used to enjoy his movies, but now, I am just tired of his ridiculousness. He proclaimed a little while ago, that he was not famous anymore … maybe, we should grant him his wish and stop paying attention.
