Fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of Leonardo DiCaprio at Paramount Pictures’ special screening of Shutter Island, sponsored by Giorgio Armani at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York. Also on hand was co-star Michelle Williams, looking radiant in a cream one-shoulder ruffled dress. This is DiCaprio’s fourth movie with director Martin Scorsese. The thriller, which takes place in 1954, stars DiCaprio as a U.S. Marshal who’s called in to investigate when a murderess goes missing from a hospital for the criminally insane on the remote Shutter Island. DiCaprio talked to Access Hollywood about working on the film: “We shot in an abandoned mental institution in Medfield, Massachusetts, and it was one of the more intense filming experiences I’ve ever had for sure,” Leo said. “But at the end of the day, that kind of stuff is challenging and that’s what I love to do and that’s why I’m here.” Shutter Island opens tomorrow across North America. ~Alexandra Heilbron
