Simon Cowell knocks up friend’s wife

Simon Cowell, 53, has knocked up the wife of a friend. According to Us Weekly, Lauren Silverman, 36, who is married to Simon’s close friend, real estate mogul Andrew Silverman, is “around 10 weeks along.” A source told the magazine: “Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.” Simon, Lauren and Andrew were all spotted on a luxurious vacation back in January 2012. For Simon, being a father didn’t always seem to be a role he wanted to take on. In a 2009 interview, he stated, “God, no. I couldn’t have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I’d go nuts.” However, last year, Simon gave a slightly different answer. When asked if he had changed his mind about children, he said, “Well, yes. And no. I do really, really like kids, because I can talk to them and listen to them. The problem has always been how much time you need to devote to bringing up kids. I’ve always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I’ve probably missed the opportunity,” he said. According to the source, Lauren plans to leave Andrew and pursue a more serious relationship with Simon now that they’re expecting a child. Meanwhile, Simon is set to return to X Factor UK to help boost ratings after quitting two years ago to join the American version. ~Naomi Leanage

Cuckolding your ‘close friend’ all the way to impregnation… Can’t help yourself about being the grossest douchebag around, hey Cowell?

Friends wife is a no no to the extreme. That’s why the bible says not to covet. I’m not religious but that commandment ended up in the ‘guy code’ anyway!

Life is messy. Things happen. I will not judge. A marriage was ending and now a baby is on the way. Simon can afford to settle down and raise a child now. He’s proven himself well with his success. The only sad part is the end of a friendship, but hey… his friend can move on and maybe find someone more compatible. Or live the single life. It is better to be alone than to be stuck in a loveless marriage.

I always hated this guy. I don’t like people that make millions demeaning others. Having said that, this is yet more the reason to hate this douche.

Did everyone read that a divorce was in the works for the unhappy couple? Nothing wrong with Simon and Lauren getting together. She was no longer bound to her husband.

@Dory: A divorce is in the works because of the affair. The husband filed papers two weeks ago and Simon is named, with adultery listed as the cause for the divorce. That means the couple was together when the affair took place.

At age 52 and with no other children, I would imagine he knows very well how to prevent a pregnancy if that was what they both wanted. So I have to imagine either it was planned or he was duped. Either way, I hope they have a beautiful, healthy baby and all parties have good lives, most importantly the baby.

With the SnugRide, you can be sure that your baby is riding in safe, protected comfort. The five point harness, equipped with soft harness covers for extra comfort, keeps her secure, as does the specially designed, removable infant head and neck support, which is built in compatibility with the seat’s safety design. EPS energy absorbing foam adds extra protection, and a 180 degree adjustable canopy shields baby from sun and glare. Parents will especially appreciate that the removable seat cushion is machine washable.
