Skyfall takes box office back from vampires

For the first weekend since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 released over three weeks ago, the newest Bond movie, Skyfall, regained first place in its fifth weekend at the box office, earning an estimated $11 million for a total five-week take of $261 million. Skyfall maintains a 4 out of 5 star rating with Tribute voters. The animated Rise of the Guardians has climbed a spot each weekend since it released three weekends ago, finally getting a second place finish with an estimated take of $10.5 million. The vampire romance The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 dropped two spots to third, taking in an additional $9.2 million for a total take of $268 million during its almost four weeks in theaters and earning 4 stars from Tribute voters. Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis held steady at fourth place with a 4.5 user rating and a modest $9.1 million. Ang Lee’s critically-acclaimed Life of Pi rounded out the top five, taking in $8.3 million with a high 4.3 star rating on Tribute.ca.

Civil War, a story about America divided amongst itself under the control of a dictator, took first place at the weekend box office in its opening weekend.
Wow, since when does that happen? A movie drops a few places then the biggest movie around falls that far in one weekend and then an older placed movie makes a comeback like this?
Way to go 007! Kill them Vampires.
