The six child actors who appeared in Best Picture Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire have been caught in a whirlwind since filming the movie last year. All six were flown from India to Los Angeles on Friday, and their first stop was to enjoy a day at Universal Studios amusement park. They then attended the Oscar ceremony on Sunday as well as the afterparties, where they got the chance to meet celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and most exciting of all for one of the little boys — Miley Cyrus. Yesterday, they spent the day at Disneyland, where they met Mickey Mouse and enjoyed the attractions. Today, they’ll fly back to India, where huge celebrations are planned upon their return. The kids, two of whom were plucked from the slums of Mumbai for their roles, are being paid a monthly stipend by the film’s producers, according to msnbc.com. The producers have also set up trust funds for the kids, which they’ll receive after graduating from school.
