Sofia Vergara’s workout inspiration is cardboard

Sofia Vergara works out in front of a cardboard cut out of Joe Manganiello.

The Modern Family star admitted she finds it hard to get motivated to work out but says a shirtless poster of her fiancé does the trick.

Explaining where the cut out came from, she said: ”We were moving and I found it in his garage, and I’m like, ‘I’m gonna take this!’ And [Joe] was like, ‘What are you going to do with that?’ So, I put it in the cardio room.”

And the 42-year-old actress has insisted she feels as though she must work out in order to stay healthy rather than for beauty purposes.

Speaking at the Screen Actors Guild Foundation Los Angeles Golf Classic, where she picked up the Actors Inspiration Award, she told People magazine: ”I have to work out, of course. With age you have to put a little bit more work and energy [in]. And now I’ve accepted that exercizing has to be part of my life, not just for beauty or aging, but just to be healthy.”

Recently, Sofia shared a snap of the cutout of the Magic Mike XXL hunk in her gym on her Instagram account.

Showing off her stunning figure, she captioned the photograph: ”Who wouldnt get motivated with that guy in the back staring at u like that hahahhha!!!! #Idontwanttoworkout (sic)”
