She didn’t bother to show up at a custody hearing on Wednesday in Los Angeles, and in her absence, Judge Scott Gordon refused to return her sons to her. Ex-husband Kevin Federline, who did show up, retains full custody for the time being. However, the judge made it clear that Spears must attend the next hearing on October 26. And what was Britney doing that was more important than showing up at a custody hearing to get her sons back? According to the NY Daily News, she was playing with her dog in the Malibu Hills, then took the dog for a ride to get coffee at Starbucks, then stopped at a nearby gas station, where she posed for the paparazzi, before returning home.
