This just goes to show you that people don’t want to go to the theatre and waste money on anything but a “AAA” movie. Blame the high cost of going to the theatre as the #1 reason because the cost per ticket is crazy not to mention the popcorn prices. #2 reason is the cost of gas these days. If it isn’t going to be a great “AAA” blockbuster movie, then I’ll wait for the DVD release.

That’s like saying lower your pay. Theatre business people need to make money too. Gas Prices I agree with though. However if you’re too cheap to watch the movie, that’s your fault, not box office’s.

re: What was the scene at the end of Iron Man????

    *** SPOILER ALERT ***

Tony stark pulls into an Esso in his Audi R8. Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) comes out and says-
“I Am Iron Man!” then starts to fill up the tank.
Stark looks confused but is distracted by the fuel price signage. Stark storms out of the car and says WTF is up with the gas prices?!?!
Nick Fury replies calmly “you want to save on gas? Let me tell you about .
    [ short pause]
    the Avengers Initiative!”
    Stark casually nods.
The two walk over to the Timmies across the street and share an medium ice cap with sprinkles, as they discuss how they will save the world from inflated gas prices.

    fade to black.

I had to go watch the movie a second time to catch this scene… well worth the 22 minutes of credits.
