Springsteen on Broadway tix selling for $7,500

Bruce SpringsteenThe Boss‘s next concert run has tickets being resold at the whopping price of $7,500 each.

Springsteen on Broadway has the iconic singer taking to a Broadway venue — the Walter Kerr Theater — for a series of concerts initially set to run from Oct. 3 to Nov. 26, 2017, during which Springsteen will perform classics from all stages of his illustrious career.

But with initial tickets selling out quickly, it was announced via Twitter that the concert run would be extended for another 10 weeks. You can see the post below.

The Walter Kerr Theater holds less than 1,000 people, substantially smaller than the huge stadiums Springsteen is used to selling out.

This means fans are in a frenzy to get their hands on tickets, with tickets that were snatched up being scalped at sky-high prices. Dates were added to give fans the chance to see “Born to Run” rocker without breaking the bank, and Ticketmaster has advised fans to hold back the urge to buy from second-hand sellers.

Springsteen on Broadway will now run until Feb. 3, 2018, and is the first series of solo concerts for Springsteen since his 2005 “Devils and Dust” tour. ~Alexa Caruso

Scalping should be outlawed. Pure and simple.

Pricey. It would be funny if no one bought the scalper tickets and then hardly anybody showed up.
