Stallone beats sucky vampires

The Expendables starring, written and directed by Sylvester Stallone topped the weekend box office for the second week in a row, earning an estimated $16.5 million and a Tribute Viewer rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars. The Twilight spoof Vampires Suck opened in second place, earning $12.2 million over the weekend and $18.5 million since its Wednesday opening. Tribute viewers rated it 2.9 stars out of 5. Julia Roberts‘ Eat Pray Love dropped a spot to third, earning an additional $12 million and a Tribute Viewer Rating of 3.7 stars. Lottery Ticket, starring Bow Wow, came in fourth with $11.1 million (Tribute Viewer Rating 1.4 stars). Rounding out the top five was the action comedy The Other Guys, starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, with an additional $10.1 million in receipts (Tribute Viewer Rating 3.4 stars) for a three-week total of $88.2 million. Canadian box office numbers will be available this afternoon.
