Star Trek’s Next Generation cast at Astronaut show

Star Trek starsStar Trek: The Next Generation cast will teleport to the already stellar line-up of celebrity astronauts at the Astronaut Autograph and Memorabilia Show at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex from November 7 to 8, 2009. Joining the roster of more than 25 famous astronauts, including Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell, are Starfleet Officers LeVar Burton (Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge), Michael Dorn (Lieutenant Worf) and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi). Ticket packages range from $100 to $1,000 and are now available by visiting Proceeds benefit the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides scholarships to college students who exhibit motivation, imagination and exceptional performance in the science or engineering field of their major.

    “Yogi had his football beliefs and wanted us to express ourselves. I don’t think it will be different this weekend. I expect to see Yogi back in football soon. We were in Holland for nine days in pre season with him and you saw how much he loves being at a football club and how he wants players to work to get better. It was great to play for him.”
