I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering what Rush has to do with Hollywood.

I agree — Rush doesn’t belong on this list.

How is tinkerbell going to come up with the money? Is she going to steal the captain’s gold?

  12. tammy #2 • June 20, 2008 @ 6:20 PM

She’s a cartoon character; they don’t use real money.

  13. tributegirl • June 20, 2008 @ 6:32 PM

She can just use pixie dust!

  14. tributegirl • June 20, 2008 @ 6:33 PM

Actually, Captain Hook is a cartoon character, so his gold wouldn’t be real anyway, so she can still use that.

Pretty bad when you have to pay to get a star!

  16. Big Toes • June 21, 2008 @ 1:33 AM

When did Rush last make a movie?

  17. Anonymous • June 21, 2008 @ 5:46 PM

maybe the same time Shakira did…

  18. Nancy • June 21, 2008 @ 5:55 PM

    ….and the Village People!! 😀

For all you people who are wondering why RUSH is getting a star, I would suggest doing some homework on the band before you post. What irratates me most is when a person who can’t name 5 songs of the band and knows absolutely nothing about them spouts off. Suggestion check out some of their songs on youtube, check their bio and the awards they have won. There are only a hand full of groups that have achivied their success. They are the beetles, rolling stones and aerosmith. The group has been creating music in 5 different decades and sold 25 gold albums and 13 platinum albums. So please don’t spout off unless you know what we know (Rush fans Forever).

about time Robert Downey Jr got on there lol 🙂
how is tinkerbell going to pay lol XD

Rush is just one of the most influential groups of musicians of all time. They have pioneered many things in recording and live performances. More awards as a group and individually than any other group. Rock and Roll hall of fame inductees. People really need to do some homework. Any musical group you listen to today has been influenced by them!

you don’t have to only be in movies to get a star they do it for nearly any area of the indrustry. and the Disney Co. will more than likely pay for Tink’s star. Tink is an Icon and has been since “Peter Pan” came out in 1953. she is also the #1 collectable item in the world right now passing up elvis and i love lucy.
