Rock star Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler, were ordered to pay $50,910 to their former chef, Jane Martin, whom they fired when she became pregnant. Martin, 41, had worked for the couple for eight years. The panel hearing the case called the dismissal “shameful.” Martin described Ms. Styler as having a “grandiose ego” and who wanted to be treated “in a royal manner.”
