Store sues Lindsay Lohan for fraud

By Alexandra Heilbron on July 1, 2010 | 4 Comments

Los Angeles boutique Tough as Nails is claiming that Lindsay Lohan bought clothing, shoes and jewelry to the tune of $17,060.83. It appears Lohan shopped there between November 2009 and February 2010 but didn’t pay a cent, telling them her business manager would come in and pay the bill. TMZ has a copy of the suit, which will be filed in L.A. County Superior Court. In it, the boutique owners claim they gave Lindsay credit because of her “well known status as a movie actress with substantial income.” The business manager did eventually come in, but only coughed up $180. They now allege Lindsay “had no intention of causing her business manager to pay the entire balance.” The owners say Lindsay committed premeditated fraud and want her to pay up, including interest and punitive damages.

Wasn’t she caught stealing a fur coat from a party before? Looks like she may have talent but no morals.

I love Lindsay. I would marry this girl if I stood the chance to even meet her. Maybe I should send her a copy of the script I am working on. Just maybe then this bad publicity can stop. I love you, Lindsay – ignore the paparazzi.

It’s the store manager’s fault, or whoever let her get away without paying. They should have known better than to trust her, they should always have to pay upfront. Everyone knows Lindsays reputation, and whoever believes that she will send someone to “pay” her “bill” is and idiot. I do like Lindsay, but she needs to get her shit together

Stars should be treated the same as everyone else they should not leave the store without making form of payment cash, credit, debit or cheque for the stuff they buy.
