Sutherland besieged with fan mail

Kiefer Sutherland has received bags of fan mail since he entered jail last week after being convicted of DUI and violating probation. “The guy’s been getting a ton of fan mail,” says Officer John Balian, spokesman for the Glendale City Jail. “Easily more than 100 letters a day.” Good thing, because Sutherland has only had one visitor—his lawyer—and was only allowed to bring two books for his 48-day stint in jail. He’ll remain behind bars for his birthday on December 21, as well as Christmas and New Years.
Christmas And New Years? Man did paris and Lohan get off easy. I think He is Canadian isnt he? is that why the change it celeb treatment?
i like this guy..but he alweays gets drunk and drives..so a few days in jail might teach him a lesson..

I think he gets more time because he has prior convictions. He’s repeating dui offender.

More like “Green Eggs and Ham” and “Cat in the Hat”. That should leave him just enough time in his 48 days to read a couple of his hundreds and hundreds of letters.
Do you suppose it’s just coincidental that 48 (the number of days he’s serving) is twice 24 (the number of hours his show is based on)???
at least he is HUMAN enough to go to jail for breaking the law and not whining about it like those bubble headed bimbos. and he also did not raise a stink about being in for the holidays. this is the difference between american celebrities that break the law and canadian ones.
I use ot love him so much along with all of his work.
But when I hear about how much of an bad person he is in real life, not just with risking everyone else’s life with his drunk driving but him smoking in restaurants and getting ppl fired for them telling him not to (which they’re supposed to)
It’s sad cuz i really want to like the guy but I think if I met him he’d treat me like shit and have his bodyguard attack me…or even hit me with an empty beer bottle
