Sutherland to be freed Monday

Kiefer SutherlandKiefer Sutherland will be released from prison on Monday, after completing his full 48-day sentence for drunk driving. He entered Glendale City Jail on December 5th and has done laundry duty and clean up work while incarcerated. He opted not to buy his way into special living accommodations. “We do have a pay-to-stay,” a jail rep told Entertainment Tonight, “however, he did not request it. He wanted to be treated like any other inmate sentenced to do his time.” Glendale City Jail officer John Balian told People.com: “Throughout his stay, he never griped, never complained. He never wanted preferential treatment from the get go, and we respect him for that.”

Yess…Finally…they can start filming 24-Season 7 (whatever the script they have before the writers strike). WELCOME back Jack.

Screw 24, this guy was driving drunk and could have killed someone and all you can think about is your stupid show? Its a show. The real story here is that he did his time and did not get special treatment like all those other celebs. I’m proud of you Kiefer. Because of the writers strike…..your show may not be up for awhile yet.

At least this is one Canadian we can be somewhat proud of; only in that he did his time.

But Keifer – hopefully you won’t be stupid enough to drive drunk again. You’ve had three chances, time to get your s*** together before you kill someone.

So, am I wrong in assuming that Paris and Lindsay….”Paid-to-stay”????????

Probably the other way around; the guards paid to send them home and get the whining spoiled brats out of their hair. Wah, I want my mommy!

I’d say “let’s bake him a cake with a file in it”, but he wouldn’t get it in time.

I think its commendable to a point that he took his time with a go with the flow kind of attitude. He didn’t expect special treatment. I am hoping that this DUI stuff is part of his past…

Maybe he’ll go to AA, get a good sponsor, stay sober and not re-offend – but don’t hold your breath; he’s a repeat DUI offender.

Will they be interrupting the news to show him leaving prison?

Why did he have to do his full sentence? Because he’s Canadian? Because his last name isn’t Hilton? Wtf? Don’t get me wrong, I’m pleased he served his whole sentence, I’m just wondering why him and not the others, they all did the same thing.

He’ll be back behind bars before you know it.

    He’s free!! (for now)
