Luke Bigham, 20, who played the 10-year-old version of Will Ferrell‘s character Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, was arrested Tuesday for pushing his mother down the stairs during an argument. This is the former child actor’s second arrest in a little over a month. On June 4th, he was driving at speeds of up to 85 miles an hour in an area that had a posted speed limit of 35 mph in his hometown of Trussville, Alabama, when he caused a five-car accident.
Luke was driving a Lexus when he allegedly hit another car, then spun out of control and crashed into three other cars. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital. Miraculously, none of the occupants of the other cars were injured. He was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and released on $1,000 bail. For the alleged assault on his mother, who was bruised and complaining of pain when police arrived on scene, he’s being charged with third-degree domestic violence and is still in jail, waiting for someone to post his $10,000 bail, according to TMZ.
