Tatiana Maslany, Benedict Cumberbatch among 2016 Emmy nominees

Anthony Anderson and Lauren GrahamThe nominations for the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning by Lauren Graham and Anthony Anderson and there are several exciting nominees.

Canada’s own Tatiana Maslany received a nomination in the Lead Actress in a Drama Series category for her amazing work in the sci-fi series Orphan BlackBenedict Cumberbatch was nominated for Lead Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride, while Tom Hiddleston received a nomination in the same category for his role in the critically acclaimed The Night Manager. 

The 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at 8 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET.
