Tatum O'NealTatum O’Neal, 44, who was the youngest person to ever win a Supporting Actress Oscar at the age of 10, was arrested after police allegedly caught her buying crack cocaine Sunday night on a street near her home. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. The suspected drug dealer was also arrested. O’Neal has long fought drug addiction, losing rights to her children with ex-husband John McEnroe because of it. She vowed to get clean and sober for her children, and completed rehab in 1996. O’Neal who won the Oscar for her role in Paper Moon (1973) opposite her father, Ryan O’Neal, reportedly asked the police, “You know who I am, right?” and then went on to claim she was “researching a part — I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.”

Well, seeing as I know everything about everything (according to ‘anonymous’), I guess I will be first to say, where have we heard the “You know who I am, right? I’m researching a part – I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.” comment before?

She’s already an expert at being a junkie. There’s no need for her to research that particular part.
