Taylor Swift’s alleged groper tries to shift blame to boss

A new detail has surfaced in the Taylor Swift court case. Denver DJ David Mueller, 55, has been accused by the “Shake It Off” singer of groping her at an event. On Wednesday, the trial went into its third day.
Mueller, who denies groping Swift, told the court it might have been his boss, Hershel Coomer, who grabbed the pop star’s buttocks at the June 2013 meet-and-greet event. During his testimony, Mueller said Coomer told him “he had his hands on her butt” when Coomer met Taylor that day.
However, Taylor is adamant it was Mueller who groped her as they were having their picture taken (see the photo below — his boss is not in sight. The woman on the left is Mueller’s girlfriend, Shannon). Taylor immediately told her security team, who had the radio host thrown out. He was fired two days later.
Mueller also said he and Taylor were trying to reach around each other during a photo op when “our hands touched and our arms touched. He further adds he “may have touched Swift’s rib cage, or rib, or ribs.”
Mueller’s attorney argues that in the photo, his client’s hand is clearly not under Taylor’s skirt, adding, “…her skirt is not rumpled in any fashion.”
The allegation of sexual assault that cost Mueller his job resulted in the Denver DJ launching a $3 million lawsuit against the singer, who responded with a countersuit of $1 to show that she only wants to make an example of Mueller, rather than money.
The case heads into its fourth day, during which Mueller’s witnesses will be called in to testify. ~Alexa Caruso

Sexual assault on anyone is so wrong. Good for Taylor for bring this to the public’s attention and not profiting from it herself.Too bad picture wasn’t shot from “behind”.
They are both very tall and long limbed people. You cannot see where the girls arms and hands are touching either. It looks like he was trying to bend his arm upwards to avoid touching the buttock area but their heights made it hard to tell where their hands would touch in the seconds it takes to snap a photo. In this case, I don’t see any intentional fondling happening. It would be very wrong to charge him in court and he deserves his job and reputation back.
I hope this gets resolved fairly.

If you look at the photo, you can clearly see Taylor standing so much closer to Shannon. You can believe that she was obviously not comfortable standing to close to the guy even before the shot was taken. No imaginings there. A professional entertainer is usually very comfortable giving a photo ‘hug’ to others, unless her instincts are already giving her pause and caution. I totally believe Taylor Swift.
From the angle of his arm, it looks pretty clear to me that his hand is down towards her butt, not her ribs. I think it’s really stretching it to try and say he was touching her around her ribs or ribcage.
Maybe you didn’t do it intentionally Mr. Mueller but it happened, so own up to what you did wrong and face the consequences.
Marie, your comment does not make sense. If he was trying to bend his arm, this would happen at his elbow. His elbow is not bent in the picture. Perhaps his wrist is bent which would put his hand directly where Taylor wouldn’t want it.
If you read her original statement, she said his hand was on her bare butt cheek and no matter how far she tried to move away, he kept squeezing it. The photo only shows that his hand was in that vicinity, but she knows exactly what he was doing. He deserves to lose his job. He’s another Jian Ghomeshi in the making and it’s about time men were held accountable for unwanted advances.

It’s so obvious that his hand is placed way too low, hence, he’s groping her butt. Shame on you. Be a man and own up, stop lying, and apologize you’re ass off to her. Coward, blaming it on your boss. Or should I just call you a creepy old guy (compared to her you’re old).
It strikes me as awful funny that Taylor Swift is smiling as if nothing is going on. And this guy’s hand is pretty darn low compared to her butt to be fondling anything. I think this is a no brainer, folks he is obviously not doing what she is accusing him of doing.

umm, you can see where his hand is clearly in the picture. The cuff of his sleeve at the wrist is rolled up and the skin of his hand is clearly visible at he butt and back of the thigh area. He is also low enough to have gone under her skirt as she expressed. It is a loose flowing skirt, easily done without being apparent from the front of the picture. So no, the skirt would not appear lifted or crumpled when viewing from the front. This guy is a pig, he will be found guilty. Who would be so stupid, or bold to assault a woman in public but most especially while a camera is taking the picture! Actually, seen if before with that guy who groped Scarlett Johansen’s breast ON CAMERA to see if she was wearing a bra while wearing that red dress. I don’t think anything happened to him. Guess when they get away with it, encourages other men to act the same way.
Plenty of arguments about where his hand is or isn’t but is anyone going to address the headline of this article? How in heck can the man blame his boss, when Coomer is nowhere to be seen in this photo? He is trying every outlandish means he can to get out of this charge. I don’t think the radio station could have fired him without legitimate reason; if so, he would have sued them instead of TS. I think the guy is hinky.
