The Brave One starring Jodie Foster took top honors at the weekend box office, debuting in the top spot with $14 million (all figures US). The western 3:10 to Yuma dropped to second place with $9.15 million. Another newcomer, Mr. Woodcock starring Billy Bob Thornton, wound up third, earning $9.1 million. The fantasy film Dragon Wars, which has not been released in Canada, debuted in fourth, taking in $5.38 million, while Superbad rounded out the top five with $5.2 million for a total take of $111 million.
the brave one was the worst movie i have ever seen, worst ending, unnecessary violence
If they released Across the Universe everywhere, then I think that it would have taken the top honours at the box office.
definately agree across the universe was a spectacular movie
So was Dragon Wars.
I live in Canada so I didn’t see Dragon Wars. I’m so sad!!!!!!!
the brave was awsome!
