Bat PodAudiences eagerly anticipating the release of Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Dark Knight won’t have to wait for the film’s July 18th release date to see Batman’s newest “ride.” The Bat-Pod, Batman’s latest vehicle, will be taking to the road for a 14-city North American tour, and is scheduled to hit Toronto on July 10th for three consecutive days. As an added bonus, the Batmobile—nicknamed the Tumbler, first seen in “Batman Begins”—will be on display alongside the Bat-Pod. See it at these times and locations in Toronto: July 10th: 7:15 am at CTV’s Breakfast Television (299 Queen St. W); and at 11:00 am at Toronto’s Eaton Centre (Trinity Way), official press unveiling (Yonge St.). On July 11th: 9:00 am at Cineplex Entertainment Scotiabank Theatre (259 Richmond St. W); 3:00 pm at Much Music’s Much On Demand (299 Queen St. W); and 6:30 pm at Cineplex Entertainment Scotiabank Theatre (259 Richmond St. W). On July 12th: 12:00 pm at EDGEFEST 2008 (Downsview Park – 35 Carl Hall Rd.). Other Canadian stops to be announced soon.

Okay when the last film Batman Begins was set to open they had a day at the Eaton Centre to see the costumes and the Tumbler and you could get your picture taken with it for free just wait the half hour to process and print. Are they doing it this time? Is it free at EdgeFest or do you have to have a ticket to EdgeFest to see it since this is such short notice? Will there be other Toronto, or Mississauga dates?
